1. [+9,186, -132] Captain, when you hid the fact that you were the captain and saved yourself first... so many lives were waiting for your words, so many lives that were lost... They stayed where they were, with hope that they would live..

2. [+4,715, -81] Sigh... I have nothing to say........

3. [+3,981, -96] We need a miracle...

4. [+4,081, -448] I don't even see hope anymore.......

5. [+3,674, -140] Honestly, all this talk about hope is only giving false hope to families. We need to recognize reality.. ㅠ It's upsetting but a boat that is underwater means it is impossible for them to be alive. The temperature is too low for survival. They cannot all be alive in such freezing conditions... I know this is upsetting but it's reality..

Article: Ocean police "Underwater search paused... to return at 5:40 am"

Source: Money Today via Nate

1. [+621, -19] The divers need to be given psychological therapy and a pension for the rest of their lives. Imagine opening a door and seeing so many dead bodies in front of your eyes, dead bodies wearing lifevests stuck to the ceiling.. bodies just covering your entire sight. Who has a mindset brave enough to go through all of that to rescue people in air pockets. No amount of money can compensate the psychological pain these people are going through.

2. [+619, -33] I have no intention of blaming the families for thinking the rescue efforts are not enough, but reality is that there is a small window for divers to go underwater and even if 500 divers are available, not all of them can get into the ferry at once. I know that parents feel angry seeing divers wait on land and they're thinking, "Why aren't they underwater? Why aren't they saving our children?" but there is simply not enough room for all of the helicopters to go up in the air to find the bodies that come up. Of course the government won't let the families search on their own, it will only be invasive of the investigation efforts going on already. And people complaining about the news shows showing the same videos over and over must realize that they cannot let cameras in for safety reasons and that bodies being caught on camera is not a good thing. Simply blaming the rescue efforts for not doing enough is not doing anything for the people risking their lives to save them.

3. [+319, -4] We need to realize that everybody on the rescue team is a precious life as well and that they're risking their life for this search. Thank you so much. I want to hug every single one of them.

Article: "I'll take responsibility for everything"... Vice principal of Danwon High School commits suicide

Source: Yonhap News via Naver

He was often heard talking about his guilt after escaping the ferry. He eventually commit suicide, leaving a will that said: "I don't have the will to live when we do not know whether 200 lives are still alive or dead. Let me take full responsibility for everything. I was the one who suggested the school trip. Cremate my body and spread it near the sinking. Should I be their teacher for the lives that were claimed in the afterlife..."

1. [+26,424, -776] What crime did the teachers commit to have to kneel before the parents, like criminals...? Two teachers are dead, 11 are lost... They are not the ones to be focused by the families.

2. [+17,442, -199] The saved teachers must be separated from the families by the government. Anyone saved should be kept an eye on because you don't know what they will do out of the guilt they feel. Please, please, focus more on the people who were saved. The internet is filled with hateful words about those who lived. They need to be encouraged to continue living. Rest in peace.

3. [+17,170, -165] A person of no crime is now dead while the captain, who put 300 lives in danger, is still living... The captain should be the one committing suicide. He's the one who was drying up bills of money while children were lying. The anger I feel...

4. [+15,767, -133] We have lost an amazing vice principal. The body of a teacher who had stayed until the end to make sure his students were safe was recently discovered. Also a teacher who couldn't escape because he was with his students, dead... The responsibility should go to the captain, not the teachers.

5. [+12,896, -76] So upsetting... those who survived should live.. but rest in peace.

6. [+3,575, -26] "Should I be their teacher for the lives that were claimed in the afterlife..." why does this part break my heart...

7. [+3,553, -26] I can't imagine the guilt he felt since he was the one who suggested the school trip and left so many children in danger after surviving on his own... His heart must've been so heavy seeing the families cry all around him. He must've blamed it all on himself. It breaks my heart thinking what he had to go through... Rest in peace. Put down your worries and sleep well.

1. [+434, -12] You bad person... Today is the last day of their school trip. Live the rest of your life in guilt. Every night for the rest of your life, listen to the children screaming for help in your dreams.

2. [+393, -13] You're 70 years old... and you left kids barely 20, and hundreds of other passengers like that... Gave me goose bumps seeing you covered up in blankets off shore like you were a regular passenger yourself;;

3. [+398, -18] You will live the rest of your life wishing you had rather died on that ferry.

1. [+802, -37] Even if people hate on the disrespectful fans, there are also just as many mature fans like this. Not only EXO but other fandoms are doing a great deed. Let's not leave hateful comments on news like this. Just praise them for their good deed.

2. [+766, -18] How nice of young students... Difficult to use your own time to step up like this.

3. [+710, -25] First time I thought idol fans were cool.

4. [+54, -6] EXO's fanpages are collecting donations and many other fanpages are sending relief goods. Money is being donated directly to the parents in case the government uses it for other things. No matter the disrespectful fans, please recognize that there are also mature fans as well.

5. [+35, -1] Amazing of the fans for doing more than me, who hasn't done anything yet. I'm sorry I can't be of more help. I hope that the children are returned to their parents soon ㅠ
